Dog Camp
Starter Welcome Package — $600
The Welcome Package is designed for dogs who need extra preparation or a slower introduction to camp. It is not required for every new camper.
Who is this Package for?
This package is best suited for dogs who:
- Need more practice with recall or relaxing in the car or on hikes.
- Benefit from a gradual introduction to the pack.
- Become overly excited around other dogs or have been asked to leave daycare because of their energy level.
- Have trouble settling down outside the home.
- Are shy around new people but enjoy being with dogs.
- Are initially shy around other dogs but enjoy playing once comfortable.
The Welcome Package Includes:
- A private in-home assessment.
- One private class before the trial begins.
- Guidance for practicing basic camp skills at home for at least two weeks before attending camp.
- Six trial camp days over a structured two-week period.
- One private follow-up class after the trial.
Preparing for Camp
The first private class introduces you and your dog to camp expectations, our communication system, and the skills we’ll practice together. You’ll then practice these skills at home for at least two weeks before your dog starts camp, helping them prepare for the experience without becoming overwhelmed.
A Gradual Introduction
During the trial, your dog will gradually meet the pack, learn camp routines, and practice participating calmly and confidently. We focus on helping your dog stay comfortable and engaged so they can benefit from everything camp offers.
Continued Support
During the follow-up class, we’ll review your dog’s progress and show you how to reinforce their skills at home. This consistency helps your dog enjoy the benefits of camp both with us and with you.
Dogs who successfully complete the Welcome Package and meet camp requirements may be approved for continued attendance.
Group Hikes
A structured two-to-four-hour adventure where dogs can exercise, explore, socialize, and practice calm behavior around the pack.
Group hikes combine physical activity, enrichment, and supervised social experiences in an outdoor setting.
To participate, dogs must:
Apply for Tiny & Friends Dog Camp
Complete the required evaluation and trial process
Meet all health, safety, and behavior requirements
Be approved for group activities
at least 2-4 times a week
2.0 Welcome Package — $350
Designed for dogs that have been trained in the past—often as puppies—and already have a good foundation with recall, socialization, and basic manners, but need a refresher before joining the camp pack.
This package helps your dog rebuild consistency, understand the camp rules, and prepare for the routines they’ll experience during camp. The goal is to make their first day more relax and enjoyable, so they can focus on having fun with their friends while continuing to practice good habits, exercise, and reinforce the training they already have at home.
The package includes a private in-home assessment and a 1:1 training session with the family to demonstrate what camp will look like and how to support the same expectations at home. We’ll practice important skills such as car rides in the camp vehicle, door manners, leash work, and how calm, relaxed behavior earns access to freedom and fun.
Owners will also be shown a shortened 30-minute daily practice routine to help create a more balanced, stable dog in a variety of situations.
Dogs must practice these skills at home for at least 10 days before joining the pack, helping ensure a smoother transition into camp and allowing them to get the full benefits of the experience.

Tyrah B.

Vanessa is ONE OF A KIND! She truly transformed my relationship with my dog. Her structured training helped him learn how to socialize while also becoming calm and obedient. The difference in his behavior and our day-to-day life has been incredible. This was such a Bette option for us versus an untamed dog day care.
I also boarded him with her and always had complete peace of mind knowing he was in safe hands. I’ll forever be thankful for Vanessa and everything she’s done for us.
